Apply for The dotCoop Global Awards for Cooperative Excellence

"Submit an application for the 2011 dotCoop Global Awards for Cooperative Excellence!  The Awards recognize the application of cooperative values and principles to drive cooperative and business success.  Winners in 2009 included the National Cooperative Grocers Association and Pachamama Coffee Cooperative, both NCBA members.  This year, a new category allows cooperative organizations as well as individual cooperatives to enter.  The other three categories are based on the size of the cooperative, which gives everyone around the world a chance to compete.  Each of the four winners in 2011 will receive $2,000 towards expenses to send a representative to receive their award and participate in the ICA General Assembly in Cancun, Mexico in November.  What a great way to kick off your activities for the International Year of Cooperatives in 2012!

Entering is easy.  Visit the dotCoop Global Awards for Cooperative Excellence site at www.globalawards.coop for full details and entry form, including the entry questionnaire.  Answering these questions completely will help the international panel of judges identify successful cooperatives that have built their business on cooperative values and principles.  Email the completed questionnaire and any appropriate attachments to entries@globalawards.coop.  In addition to entering the competition, cooperatives can also become sponsors of the Global Awards.  Sponsors will receive international recognition throughout the remainder of 2011 and into 2012, including at the ICA General Assembly.  Sponsorship levels start at just $100.  If you have questions about the Global Awards for Cooperative Excellence, contact dotCoop at support@nic.coop or +1-202-383-5453.  Don’t wait to enter; the deadline for submissions is June 1, 2011."
